Serious Injuries Reported After Plane Crashes Near Washington’s San Juan Islands
Emergency response teams rushed to the scene of a plane crash near Washington state’s San Juan Islands on Thursday.
Kenmore Air confirmed that one of its aircraft crashed into the water at Shallow Bay while travelling from Lake Union to Roche Harbour.
Eleven People Were on Board
According to the airline, the aircraft was carrying 10 passengers and one pilot at the time of the crash. Initial information indicates that everyone on board survived the incident.
However, several occupants reportedly suffered serious injuries. Details regarding the number of injured passengers and the severity of their conditions have not yet been confirmed.
Rescue Operation Underway

Photographs shared on social media appeared to show the damaged aircraft burning while partially submerged in the water.
